My granddaughter moved to England, and left Roxy with us. Roxy is about 4 years old. She is very responsive to voice commands, wanting to please her family. She would also like to be right with you everywhere you are, but because of her long hair we have been making her stay outside. She does well on a rope if necessary for a time, as long as she has water. She drinks a lot. She is a powerful dog, needs room to run, and still plays like a puppy. She wants to chase anything that runs, so she had to learn that our three cats were not to chase. We have chickens, and she gets frantic to get at them if I am in their pen. When one flew off down the mountain, she went after it. After a while she brought it back by the neck. She loves sticks to be thrown, but she will never drop something she has fetched for you to throw again. She wants to chase and be chased. She gets jealous when I give attention to other pets, and if she can, squeezes in to be petted instead.
