Nemo came to us in April of 2024. He was given to a pet store to use as a feeder, and a customer overheard and took him home. She was unable to keep him and surrendered him to us to find a good home. Nemo is a bit shy and withdrawn. He did not do well being paired with another male rat at the rescue, but may do well in larger groups. Pairs can be tricky for rats. Trios or larger mischiefs are usually more peaceful, especially with males. He is handleable and curious, and very cute. He likes fruits and vegetables more than rat food but he is a good boy and eats his rat food too. We would like Nemo to go to a home who has other rats to try bonding him with. We are able to meet within 1 hour of Minneapolis, MN for adoptions. Potentially further- please reach out and we can discuss!
