Isabella came into our rescue with her sister Henrietta. They were part of an unwanted litter & found in horrific conditions of 23+ rabbits. Along with Dolly's four other small animal rescues took these rabbits into their care. Fortunately we were able to get Isabella & her sister spayed right away. They recovered well & we are currently working to get them socialized, on a better diet & learning more about their personalities. We would love to keep the sisters together since they bonded so young & have done well with each other before & after getting spayed. May 14, 2024, 8:38 amAdoption processWe vet check our potential adopters and give an extensive questionnaire as part of the application. We deny adoptions for any reason including previous history with animal abuse, no vet record for current pets, not planning to spay/neuter when of age, etc. We also provide education to the adopters who are unsure about rabbit care, handling, or diet and provide support even after the rabbit is rehomed. The adopters are required to have a 2 week foster period to ensure that the rabbit will work out for the family and the adoption contract states that the animals must be returned to our facility in the event of needing to rehome in the future. We also schedule the spay/neuter with the adopter before taking home the animal.Shelter locationBy appointment Wed thru Sat 10-4
