Meet Junie! This young mama came to Redwood Pals Rescue with her puppies when her family was notable to care for her and her pups were just three weeks old. With the help of their wonderful foster,Junie and the pups thrived and grew. The pups have been adopted and now Junie is ready for herForever Home. Junie loves a nice hike or a trip to the beach. She has been good around other dogs and unfamiliarpeople on these outings. Finding a stick to carry and chase is a bonus! At home she likes to nap by thefire and wait patiently for the next adventure or play with one of her favorite toys. She is crate-trainedand will also sleep on her own dog bed. Her foster appreciates that Junie will let her know if someone isoutside the door but doesn’t bark randomly. Junie is only about a year old and quite receptive tolearning new things. Junie’s foster had this to say about their experience “Junie came to me after shehad a litter of 5 adorable puppies. We wanted to give her and the pups a calm environment to growtogether. It was so sweet being able to work side by side with her through the process. She was such agood mom to all of them, very attentive and nourishing.” Junie is about a year old and weighs about 50 pounds. She is scheduled to be spayed soon and will also be current on her vaccinations at that time.Adoption processWe have an adoption application and require an home visit and references. Our adoption fee for dogs is $175 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, and other medical treatment.
